Petra Vanessie Melbourne Cup Lunchon

No comments:
I must admit that Petra Vanessie is one of my favourite local designers not only for her elegant  and sophisticated dresses which combine a classical styles with a modern unique twist; but her support and commitment towards creating opportunity within Western Australia is inspirational and admired.
Petra who was born in a must see destination of Jakarta, designs her exquisite dresses here in Perth, Western Australia. In her studio she creates colourful, bold and the most sophisticated outfits which you can dress up with a pair of heels for a special event or wear casually but you know that when you’re wearing a Petra Vanessie number you going to be turn heads.

Since discovering the label several years ago when I was asked to model for Petra’s collection I started my addiction for her designs which incorporate unique fabrics and textiles. Since then my admiration for Petra herself has grown as she continues to give back to the community by participating in several events such as Divine Dreaming that supported the David Wirrpanda Foundation and her recent participation in Frocktober, she has the community supporting her along her journey.

As much as I could speak about Petra I just wanted to post a couple of behind the scene images from my recent work with Petra for Melbourne Cup at the Beau Rivage Restaurant in Gloucester Park. As the team leader and choreographer for the models this was an amazing and unforgettable opportunity.

Finally I would just like to thank everyone involved

Petra Vanessie, Nic Lanyon, Andrea Lewin, Mandy To, Sarah Corrigan, Olivia Sutton and to all 8 beautiful models involved!!
